What Our Guests Say

We spent 9 days at The Palms and had a wonderful time. We had previously stayed in the Plantation four times. And this was probably our best experience, although the previous times had been beach front !

This place has more bang for the buck than any place in the Plantation. The views from the ocean side of the house do not do it justice. Much closer than you think.

We had a wonderful time at The Palms. We saw lots of dolphins and millions of seashells! We all had lots of fun! I went shopping and swam in the ocean. We built sand castles and rode the waves! We all thank you for the most wonderful time in St. George Island Florida.
Love,

- Emily K.

Whether you are shopping for usual antiques, unique gifts or, the latest beachwear, you will find St. George Island, Apalachicola and Eastpoint to offer an array of shopping opportunities.
Apalachicola, which is located on the mainland, has a wonderful variety of shops that are all located within a walking distance form each other. They are all privately owned boutiques that specialize in clothing, fishing, cosmetics, furniture, photography galleries, and many other sorts of nick-knacks. What is particularly fascinating about these stores is how creative and individual each one is.
