The Palms Retreat Vacation House is built in a private, 24/7 hour guarded community, St George Plantation covering 5 miles of the western end of the island. There are about 400 homes on ½ to 1 acre lots. The St George Island Plantation was built with respect for the environment and its beauty. This is why many areas through out the Island are Official Bird and Wildlife Sanctuaries.

Plantation has extensive bike trails, a new, large community pool, 3 tennis courts, and a rock jetty. Some of the best fishing in Florida is located at Bob Sikes Cut, available only to St George Plantation owners and their guests.

The Palms Vacation Rentals has a fantastic view of the Gulf and easy access to the private white beaches. The Palms has 3 levels. Upstairs (the kitchen, living, dinning rooms, two decks and screened porch) provides a great place to enjoy a view of the gulf. The Bay side screened porch is a great place to enjoy evening while surrounded by tall pines and palm trees. The large kitchen is completely furnished with dishes, microwave, pans, utensils, coffee maker, blender, toaster, Forman Electric Grill etc. You can enjoy the view of the Gulf while preparing your gourmet meal. The upstairs has its own full bath and laundry with washer and dryer. The living room is equipped with cable TV/VCR, stereo, comfortable coach, love seat and a lot of chairs.

The Palms Vacation rentals by owner has two living areas, upstairs and downstairs, each with a cable TV.

The downstairs has four large bedrooms (2 of which are masters), 2 baths, and the living area. Each bedroom is provided with a queen size bed. Two of the bedrooms have cable TV, while one of the master bedroom has a PC with DSL connection to the Internet (Wi-Fi). A picture is worth a thousand words.
